LRF's Structure
LRF’s head office is located in Stockholm. In addition, operations are conducted at 19 regional offices throughout Sweden, while its Brussels office provides LRF with representation at the heart of Europe.
LRF’s ultimate decision-making body is its annual National Assembly, with a total of 150 elected representatives. Half of these are elected by the regional associations and represent individual members. The other half represents the co-operatives.
The National Assembly elects the National Board of Directors, which implements the assignments approved by the National Assembly. The National Board of Directors is the board for the two legal entities: LRF ideell förening and LRF förening upa. LEAB (Lantbrukarnas Ekonomi Aktiebolag) is a subsidiary of LRF förening upa. LEAB enforces the National Board of Directors’ decisions and is the parent company of LRF’s subsidiaries.
